  • Visa (if applicable)
  • Travel insurance information (if applicable)
  • Flight itinerary (digital or printed copy)
  • Printed copies of important documents (passport, visa, insurance)

Personal Essentials

  • Clothing suitable for the full duration of the Congress (business casual)
  • Cultural attire for Tuesday evening (optional, but encouraged!)
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Weather-appropriate outerwear
    • In September, South Korea experiences a mix of warm and cooler temperatures as the country transitions from summer to autumn. While daytime temperatures can still be quite warm, especially early in the month, evenings and mornings may be cooler. A light sweater or jacket is advisable for cooler periods, and a rain jacket or umbrella can be useful for occasional rain showers. Checking the weather forecast before your trip will help you pack appropriately and ensure you’re prepared for any changes in the weather.
  • Personal toiletries and medications

Technology and Communication

  • Mobile phone and charger
  • Laptop or tablet and charger
  • Universal travel adapter (or an adapter compatible with Type C and Type F outlets)
  • Headphones or earphones (essential for non-English speakers)
  • Translation app (useful for non-English speakers)
  • Map and directions to the venue
  • We recommend downloading Naver Maps for reliable navigation in South Korea. Plan ahead and take a screenshot of your directions in case your phone loses signal.

Emergency Preparedness

  • Emergency contact number (to be used only in emergency situations)
  • Local embassy contact information

Note: This is a suggested packing list to help you prepare for the Congress. Please check with the relevant country policies and regulations to ensure that all items you plan to bring are permitted. Safe travels!
