Serving the Persecuted Church Date: 29 February 2024 Time: 01:00 PM GMT In our increasingly interconnected world, the plight of the persecuted church cannot be overlooked. Whether you have had first-hand experience or have never had contact with someone facing persecution, our workshop ‘Serving the Persecuted Church’ helped inform, educate, and empower all to better serve God’s church facing persecution for their testimony in Jesus. 24-7 Prayer Launch Date: 20 March 2024 Time: 12:00 PM GMT Launching the journey to the Fourth Congress, the global church came together as we launched a 24/7 prayer initiative for world mission. Participants connected with one another, prayed with other participants from around the world, and sought God’s guidance and blessing together. Let’s continue praying for God’s global mission! Collaborative Action Workshop 1 (Foundations of Collaborative Action) Date: April 9 2024 Time: 14:00 PM GMT Facilitated by Vision Synergy The session, led by Michael Kasper and Daniel Dow, features insights on the significance of unity and collaboration among God’s people, with contributions from various global participants. Insights on collaboration are shared, including a discussion on the benefits and barriers to collaboration, as well as overcoming fears associated with collaborative efforts. State of the Great Commission Report Launch Date: 23 April 2024 Time: 01:00 PM GMT In this important milestone in our journey towards accelerating global mission together, Dr. Matthew Niermann, director of the State of the Great Commission Report, expertly presented highlights of the report, offering insights into the current landscape of world evangelization and the strategic paths forward. Together we explored the depths of our calling and the breadth of our impact in God’s global mission. Proclamation Evangelism Workshop Date: 23 May 2024 Time: 01:00 PM GMT Are large-scale evangelistic gatherings a thing of the past? Is proclamation evangelism dead? On 23 May we listened to Dr. Desmond Henry and Blair Carlson, who shared innovative strategies for a new era of evangelism. This workshop targets those passionate about spreading the Gospel more effectively and is designed to inspire and equip the church to breathe new life into evangelism efforts in their local contexts. Collaborative Action Workshop 2 (The process of collaborative action) Date: June 11, 2024 Time: 04:00 AM GMT In this second of three workshops on Collaborative Action, we examined how collaborative initiatives get launched using a three-stage process. We also explored how to build trust, identify stakeholders, and create a shared vision. Finally the workshop explored a tool you can use when engaging with potential collaboration partners. If you are thinking about collaboration or are already in the middle of it, engaging in this workshop will provide you with helpful tips and tools to strengthen your collaboration. Collaborative Action Workshop 3 (Art and Practice of Collaborative Leadership) Date: September 6, 2024 Time: 02:00 AM GMT In the third of three collaborative action workshops, we explored the art and practice of collaborative leadership. We discussed and interacted around the biblical calling of a collaborative leader as well as the crucial roles, functions, and values of such leadership. We also examined the differences between collaborative and hierarchical (organizational) approaches to leadership. Leaders left with a clearer understanding of the role and practice of collaborative leadership and how they could best contribute to a collaborative action team.
