¿Necesito una visa?

Consulte este sitio web para obtener más información sobre su caso concreto. Dependiendo de su nacionalidad, puede estar exento de visado. Si no está exento de visado, consulte esta lista para ver si cumple los requisitos para obtener una K-ETA (autorización de ingreso al país por Internet).

¿Qué finalidad de ingreso debo solicitar para mi visa?

Todos los participantes que necesiten una visa (no K-ETA) deben solicitar una visa de Visita de Corta Duración (C-3-1) de 90 días o menos. Puede obtener más información sobre el tipo de visa para su nacionalidad aquí.

¿Cuáles son los requisitos generales de documentación para solicitar una visa?
  • Todos los países de la lista K-ETA pueden solicitar en línea la autorización de ingreso al país sin ir a la embajada.
  • Todos los participantes de países que no figuran en la lista deben ir a la embajada/consulado de su país de residencia. La lista de documentos necesarios para obtener una visa se encuentra en esta página.
  • Nota: Recomendamos que su pasaporte tenga al menos seis meses hasta la fecha de caducidad en el momento de las fechas de su viaje y visa.
¿Cuál es el procedimiento para solicitar una visa?

Le recomendamos que lo confirme con la embajada coreana de su país llamando o enviando un correo electrónico directamente, si no está seguro después de consultar los enlaces anteriores.

¿Cómo recibo una carta de invitación para una visa?

Vaya a la pestaña «Información» en journey.lausanne.org (una vez que haya pagado su depósito de inscripción) y Lausana le enviará los documentos a su correo electrónico. La fecha límite para las cartas de invitación es el 22 de agosto de 2024.

Si necesita que se le envíen copias físicas o notariadas a su dirección, debe escribir a registrar@lausanne.org con su solicitud lo antes posible y a más tardar el 31 de julio de 2024 para que podamos procesar su solicitud.

¿Qué pasa si no puedo conseguir una visa o me la deniegan?

En caso de que se inscriba para participar en forma presencial y se le deniegue la visa, se le ofrecerá la oportunidad de participar virtualmente. Consulte nuestra política de reembolsos en la sección Pagos.

Reduced Visa Requirements by Country

Nepal: For the Fourth Lausanne Congress, digital visa documents are now acceptable, and notarized or physical copies sent from Korea are no longer required. Participants may now use the visa documents they receive electronically through their Congress portal, along with their application, to apply for their visa. Kathmandu residents are encouraged to apply together as much as possible, but the embassy will accept documents even if they apply individually. Lastly, participants are exempt from the online reservation system. Visa applications are accepted at the Embassy gate from Monday to Friday, between 09:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. When asked to show the reservation slip at the embassy gate, they can inform the staff that they were told online reservations are not required for Lausanne Congress participants.

Uganda: For the Fourth Lausanne Congress, digital visa documents are now acceptable, and notarized or physical copies sent from Korea are no longer required. Participants may now use the visa documents they receive electronically through their Congress portal, along with their application, to apply for your visa. 


Sri Lanka: For the Fourth Lausanne Congress, digital visa documents are now acceptable, and notarized or physical copies sent from Korea are no longer required. Participants may now use the visa documents they receive electronically through their Congress portal, along with their application, to apply for your visa. Applicants must make an appointment online in advance to apply for a visa the next morning.

Bolivia: For the Fourth Lausanne Congress, digital visa documents are now acceptable, and notarized or physical copies sent from Korea are no longer required. Participants may now use the visa documents they receive electronically through their Congress portal, along with their application, to apply for their visa. They are also asked to be sure to visit the embassy at least one month before the expected date of departure.

Liberia: For Liberian participants of the Fourth Lausanne Congress, the Korean embassy is only requiring a scanned copy of a notarized Letter of Guarantee to be digitally sent from Korea Lausanne to the embassy directly. There is no longer a requirement to provide physical, notarized copies of participants’ visa documents at the embassy. We have provided the embassy with a list of our Fourth Lausanne Congress participants. They will use this list and the Letter of Guarantee to confirm participant participation and approve their visa. Participants should forward their completed Guarantee Letter to registrar@lausanne.org so it can be sent to the embassy on their behalf. 

Sierra Leone: For Sierra Leonean participants of the Fourth Lausanne Congress, the Korean embassy is only requiring a scanned copy of a notarized Letter of Guarantee to be digitally sent from Korea Lausanne to the embassy directly. There is no longer a requirement to provide physical, notarized copies of participants’ visa documents at the embassy. We have provided the embassy with a list of our Fourth Lausanne Congress participants. They will use this list and the Letter of Guarantee to confirm participant participation and approve their visa. Participants should forward their completed Guarantee Letter to registrar@lausanne.org so it can be sent to the embassy on their behalf. 

Nigeria: For Nigerian participants of the Fourth Lausanne Congress, the Korean embassy is only requiring a scanned copy of a notarized Letter of Guarantee to be digitally sent from Korea Lausanne to the embassy directly. There is no longer a requirement to provide physical, notarized copies of participants’ visa documents at the embassy. We have provided the embassy with a list of our Fourth Lausanne Congress participants. They will use this list and the Letter of Guarantee to confirm participant participation and approve their visa. Filipinos: For the Fourth Lausanne Congress, digital visa documents are now acceptable, and notarized or physical copies sent from Korea are no longer required. Participants may now use the visa documents they receive electronically through their Congress portals, along with their applications, to apply for their visa.
